How to best furnish your rental flat.

Furnishing a rental apartment is harder than you might imagine, especially if there’s a shortage of space. Here are a few furnishing tips for you!

Clever furnishing ideas can transform an ordinary flat into stunning place to live – even if it isn’t very big. It only takes a few good ideas to make your new home look more spacious and congenial.

Smaller items of furniture add flexibility and have the advantage of being easily moved around. Lighter furnishings can make a room seem bigger than it is in reality.

Experimenting with colour schemes can also help. Painting a side wall in a strong colour can make a rectangular-shaped room look bigger and more symmetrical. Painting a wall in a warm colour can also offset any lack of outside light – at least to some extent.

Clever lighting can help smaller rooms seem bigger than they really are.
